Video size help
« on: January 30, 2007, 02:29:30 pm »

I've been playing with video on my site  http://www.windsurf.me.uk/Gallerypage.html  and now seem to have things running smoothly.

I just have one little problem that I'm struggling to resolve. I have installed the flv mod sucessfully and a great mod it it. But I wish to make the videos play in a bigger window than they currently do, the same goes for all videos in that section.

It's ok with mpeg's as double clicking brings up a full size explorer but quicktime of flv movies stay in the small size. I don't want this to affect the size of my intermediate photo's though in other sections of the gallery.

Help!!!

Did you tell Coppermine the dimensions of the videos?

I just tried uploading another video that was 640*480 and telling coppermint that it was that size but it still plays only in the small window

It's an issue with flv mod then, it is specifying dimensions of 320x260.

Hello,

I'm having a similar issue & tried changing the dimension numbers in my quicktime video box & in admin preferences,
but only the box got bigger -- not the video. So do I need to re-upload video or ??? How did you get videos to open
& view larger??? Can I see your site ??? Thanks in advance for your help:-) Donna

PS -- I'll check out your videos from another computer because neither the quicktime nor wmv's open on mine ...
I'm on an older mac with explorer 5.1, so I'll try from school later. But love to know how to make the videos bigger like you did. I can see that it looks like it opens double size of regular videos. Looking forward to seeing the windsurfing. Cheers, D

Not related to the flv mod.

Hi GauGau,
If you don't know, it's not possible ... so ... is there a way to make my videos open larger in Coppermine?
When I changed the dimensions in the box, only the box grew larger. It would be great if my videos would
open larger -- like on youtube. Is that possible & easy???

At least they open fast ... as in IMMEDIATELY:-) Thanks for Coppermine.

Is possible. Not related to the initial question of this thread though. Closing, locking.
