ftp upload to a users album
« on: January 31, 2007, 01:33:07 am »

I must be dense...

I am consolidating 5 different galleries into one.  In the new gallery that they will all be put into, I've created one of the users and created their 5 albums.

Now I want to upload all their pictures into their album's.

I have created an upload directory, and put the first set of pictures in there.  Using the Admin Batch add files, I see the ftp directory.  When I select it however, there are no albums to put the pictures in.

How do I make the users album show up so that I can batch add them?

Do as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs.

Don't batch add into user galleries.

Do as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs.

I see nothing in that section that talks about what I am asking.

I don't have a problem with using Batch Add, I have a problem using Batch Add as an admin to add pics to another users area.

Don't batch add into user galleries.

??

I would assume the Admin could access and control any area.

I have close to 700 pictures to move.  Using the other methods would take a very long time.

Coppermine hasn't been designed for that purpose.
