Activation Verification email

Hello,  I've recently installed Coppermine version 1.4.9, using the H-Sphere apps collection.

Everything is running fine, except the activation email which should be triggered when the admin activates a new user signup.

Is there a known bug for this issue? I can't find one from searching in the forums.
