How can I remove or hide "Random Files" and "Last Additions" Section of my homepage?

Can you tell me what section(s) of the documentation I should focus on?  It's a pretty big document.

Can you tell me what section(s) of the documentation I should focus on?  It's a pretty big document.
Reading the docs (all sections) is mandatory before being allowed to post questions. Board rules clearly say so.
