Recreate gallery?
« on: January 15, 2007, 10:05:49 pm »

My cpg 1.3x gallery broke while trying to upgrade to 1.4.10 - rather than trying to troubleshoot the issue I decided to just install the latest version in parallel and then work from there.

1.4.10 is currently installed and appears to be working (although empty) - it is also bridged to phpbb and is correctly allowing login based on the phpbb users.

The 1.3 tables appear fine (my cpmfetch running against my old 1.3 is still serving images correctly)

Is there a way to transfer the images into the new installation while preserving album structure?  And more importantly is there a way to do this while retaining the image owner information?

Thanks for any help

That's why we suggest upgrading the way we do. Creating a fresh install and then importing your outdated stuff into the new install will only work if you know your way around. Give upgrading another try, it's easy.
