Thumbnail blurred in MacOS X safari and firefox
« on: December 26, 2006, 01:29:31 pm »

Here are the thumbnails saved and captured separately in a macbook pro with MacOS X 10.4.8:

Captured (within safari) : Picture 1.png
Saved (from safari): thumb_DSC_3578.jpg

The thumbnails look good under windows. Is it related to the render engine of safari?

Any mac user has this problem?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean my "captured with Safari". I've not had any problems with my Mac's and without a link to your gallery, it's hard to say.

Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.

That means the thumbnails shown by safari are blurred. I use command - shift 4 to capture the screen.

However, I found that the demo gallery has no problem under mac. My server setting is centos 4, apache2, imagemagick (-antialias -limit memory 64 -limit map 128), jpeg quality 90.

Sorry, I can't give you a link right now. I will post a link later.

Thank for your reply.
