I NEED ADVICE a.s.a.p please

i am uploading Coppermine to my website. I have noticed that it would not let me upload the folder coppermine all in one go, so i went ahead and uploaded file by file. Everything went thru except this ones "no_FTP-uploads_into_this_folder! "
is this one important to have or will everything work fine without it ??
Please guys , give me your advices.
