Can I modify a users upload?
« on: December 07, 2006, 08:51:59 pm »

Hello,

I have a gallery that will allow users to upload videos. As there are so many video files types, I would like to download their uploaded video, convert it to a youtube video and upload that IN PLACE of their original video file.

Now I have installed the youtube mod, but the question is, how do I replace the existing video file?

Unforunately, it's not a simple matter of updating the database, as I have to use to the youtube mod to *extract* the youtune swf. Dumping the swf file into the appropriate folder online just doesn't work.

Any ideas?

You'll probably need to do that manually.
