email notification for passwords(ecards work)

I recently installed coppermine (1.4.8) and am having a problem with email notification of passwords. eCards are working properly. I checked the forum but could not find anything that solves my problem.

My mail is configured using smtp and I am assuming that is is correct because eCards are working.

My site is hosted by godaddy.

I am new here, excuse me if I have posted it in the wrong board.

Update to 1.4.10 - the latest version. Post a test account with which we can test send emails.

I updated it to the new version and the problem still exists. Is there anything I can do to debug further?

No. You're suppossed to post a non-admin test user account. Create one (just for support purposes), post it here. After tests are done, you can safely disable the account. I can see no reason for playing hide-and-seek.
