some link not showing
« on: December 03, 2006, 02:28:12 am »

Hello

Some link do not show up for example, when u do a batch add and you see a folder symbol next to the directories, it doesnot show up.

When i do a batch add you do not see the thumnail. However if u then do another batch add, the photos that u have alreay uploaded will display ??

I have copied the images foler again. I have played around with permission, but to no avail, any ideas.

Also sometimes when u go to the plugin manager the icons under operation do do display though i think u can still operate them.

See attached screen shot

Cheers

Pete :)

Not related to install - moving accordingly. Do exactly as suggested in http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#upload_trouble

I have follwed the instruction re the previuos link for trouble shooting .

When i do the upload procedure on funpic  my live site. i get error Impossible to move 005_5adj.jpg to albums/userpics/10001/ !
File: /usr/export/www/hosting/pcp20us/db_input.php - Line: 355 ??

My site is http://pcp20us.pc.funpic.org/
login test password test.

I have done a fresh install of cpg 1.4.9 on my test server and it was working fine then i tried the trouble shoot procudre and get this
The error msg received is Error executing ImageMagick - Return value: 127.
Under config i have not added anything to imageMagik so why is it trying to use it. and if it is how do i turn it off.

I have searched the boards but found nothing relevant to these codes

MY test server is
The server is sme 7.0 running safe mode off with GD enabled .

Any help would be good

Thanks

Pete

The error msg received is Error executing ImageMagick - Return value: 127.
The error message means that you have specified the wrong path to ImageMagick or that you don't have ImageMagick at all. Go to Coppermine's config, expand "Files and thumbnails advanced settings" and set "Method for resizing images" to GD2. Has been asked many times.

This error was showing on a complete new install so it had all the default settings. But i tracked the problem done to a plugin.

Though reqarding links not showing up as in previuos post. I did a compete new install again last nite for testing. The thumbnails don't show up when doing a batch add, and  the OK simple doesn't display after adding pictures. Though it adds them to the album. If you do a single upload as per the troubleshooting it adds the photo fine.

This occurred after adding the plugin photo_shop,which adds a shopping cart. When i deinstall the plugin the thumnails then show up. and it works as it should.

So there is something in the photo_shop plugin causing the problem. This post may need to be moved !!

Probably whitespace at the end of files in the plugin. Check and remove any you find. Post to the plugin thread if that solves the issue.

Checked the codebase and there are no spaces or lines after ?>

Ok what i have discovered.

I have just done a fresh install of 1.4.10
uploads work fine, batch uploads work fine.

Installed cpgmark v1.2. this caused errors after you do an upload of single file. after you click to add it to an album it comes up with cannot find page for upload.php. (that says file was placed correctly). removed cpgmark and it work fine. And i was unable to get the cpgmark to work and after reading posts on contribs sounds like others are having similar problem

So can someone point me to a watermark that works? I tried the new cpg mark1.3 RC1 but i cannot get it to fly.
Download strammas mode  strammas_mod_1.4.10_bridge 1 ( i assume this works with standalone) but no plugins in there ( so i was confused)

Same problem with photo  shop plugin as discribed in previous post. Links are  missing but it still seems to add images to albums.

I am no expert but I am experiencing problems with the 2 things i want to work a shopping cart and watermarking.

Oh well head up

Don't merge multiple issues into the same thread. I checked the plugin myself and there *is* whitespace in one of the files.

Ok cool that you found it, well i ll have a look at it again, I checked the codebase as i thought that was the one to check, i ll go check em all or could give me a hint!! to which file it is, i could then post it on the relevant board.

I was just sharing my experience with what was cauising my problem, was not trying to confuse the threads.

Cheers
