subSilver for Coppermine
« on: February 17, 2004, 11:05:01 pm »

This seems pretty trivial, but is there a subSilver theme (phpbb) out there for coppermine?  I tried to make my own, and it turned out to be a disaster in experimentation.

Any help is appreciated.

subSilver for Coppermine?

if there is a subSilver theme, it hasn't been contributed yet on this board. The coppermine default theme is pretty similar to SubSilver, don't you agree?
I moved your posting to feature requests...

Thanks, yea it's similar, but there's these minor annoyances all over the place.

Is there at least a phpbb/coppermine theme pair that's the same and "default"-ish?  Trying to get one or the other to match with each other is a pain.

If someone can point me at a version of subsilver thats still running, I could take a look at it and see how difficult it would be to create a similar theme for Coppermine.

I neither run a phpBB nor wish to, but I might be able to hack together a similar looking theme If I had a good example.

Sorry Popthetop I wanted to do something as close to the orignal so I didn't include the snowflakes  :o

I installed phpBB and used the default subSilver theme as a guide.

Some of the images are straight off phpBB install, and remain copyright of phpBB, and they say no commecial use.

I've noted that in a readme in the images folder, as well as the license section in theme.php

good luck with it.

EDIT: uploaded new version, original has a capital S in the title that messes up some unix hosts.

You can rename the subSilver theme directory to subsilver to fix the issue, or redownload.

cpg1.3.x_theme_subsilver12.zip

I have it running at http://www.popthetop.com/cpg/ with the Forum Side Menus in the template. I am still modifying it si it is still incomplete. But you can get the general idea. The one posted for download is complete, I am just changing it to match my site more.
