upload error

hello, if i want to upload a picture,if will be sign the following messages:"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 10485760 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2816 bytes) in /.........../include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 262"
what can i do.
It went already once, however, all at once it did not go any more. is there limit in speak in images? I have moved nothing. uploaden I act only jpg
