Users in gallery, how can they change their info ?
« on: November 04, 2006, 06:52:46 pm »

I have just installed Coppermine at a server, and I am using the Swedish language on it...

I am not finished with the gallery yet, but there is one thing that I canīt figure out...

Where do users change their personal information ?
I am using all the extra fields for the personal info....

I just saw that... The reason for why I did not see that was because of that my own profile has admin status. When logged in, and switched to "user mode" I donīt have the buttons to admin my own account, I have to go to "admin mode" and then click users in the admin menu and then click on my own profile link to change my own account...

I did a test and took away the admin status on myself and logged in, then I had the buttons on top where I could change my album(s), profile info, sort order and so on...

But, there must be something wrong anyway, since I donīt see the buttons as admin, switched to user mode...

User mode does not make you a normal user, it just hides the admin controls. If you want to test your gallery as a normal user then make yourself a test account for this purpose.
