phpBB Users integration
« on: November 04, 2006, 03:06:17 pm »

I know about bridging with phpbb and I use it currently, but I would like to know how to make it so that both coppermine and phpbb share the same members, but use their own registration / login system. (I do not want them to share a cookie)  Also, is it a problem that coppermine and phpbb are on two different mysql databases?

Thanks in advance!

Oh yeah, my information is this:

Coppermine install: http://www.thecybernetwork.net/gallery/
Forum install: http://www.thecybernetwork.net/forums/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.8
Forum version: phpBB 2.0.21
Test user account: test / test (works for both phpbb and coppermine)

If you don't want them to share a cookie then you'll need to rewrite the bridge. Good luck with that. The bridge system is designed to handle different databases, that is no problem.
