What about a support for panoramas?
« on: October 26, 2006, 03:57:54 pm »

Hi, I've found these 2 Interesting free software in Internet:

http://www.zoomify.com/

http://www.fsoft.it/panorama/ptviewer.htm

They are both free and very useful for people (like me) publishing lots of panoramas.

What do you think?
Regards

Nice tools. The first one (Zoomifyer EZ) is not being released under GNU GPL, so it can't be added into coppermine's core code. You're welcome though to post a mod/hack/plugin that incorporates it into Coppermine.

The second app (PTViewer) appears to be released under GNU GPL, so license-wise it should not be a problem to integrate it into the core. None of the current coppermine dev team members is a Java coder though, so I'm not sure if this is going to be integrated, just because we're not familiar with it. Again, a code-contribution would be welcome though.
