custom field for image discription
« on: October 22, 2006, 11:11:00 pm »

The information I put in the custom field for image discription is not displaying under the photo's in the user galleries.  I have created a account called New User with a password of 1234. I have all four fields activated but none are working.

Test user accounts work even better together with a link to the site they have been created for.

I should have mentioned that it is the user added comment lines that do not work. The regular ones do. I put in comments to test them and nothing appeared, just the regular comments.

ok, I have to presume that this is a problem and it cannot be solved. I got corrected for not listing the site, but when I corrected that error, not help was forth comming. I thought it might be due to not listing it correctly or since I put the website after the initial correction that no one had gone back to check so it could be helped. But I got corrected again about double posting, but still no help. I hope no one else has this problem.

I don't know what your problem is, I uploaded a file and it seems to be working correctly.

My posting speaks of the custom field for image discription. You put the words test in the title and are telling me it appeared. I have created a new field called test in the custom field. The help for that area says:These fields are displayed within the "file information" area. They will appear only if you give them a name. Now it has a name:Test. Try and list somethng in that field.

Now I understand, it shows up in the file description, not in the decription that the public sees. That is a distinction that I did not understand. Thank you for your help.
