Displayimage without intermediate image but same size
« on: October 21, 2006, 09:54:32 pm »

I really like the appearance of the gallery.
Only concern is to save some disc space: since the size of my original images is already reduced to 80-120k, I think it might make sence to get rid of the intermediate image. Problem is that if I do it through the settings the image display gets too big... Is the any chance to display the image on the displayimage side in a reduced size ?
So - I don't want to change the look and feel, only the way how it is done.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks, Thomas

Specify a size for the intermediate image ("Max width or height of an intermediate picture/video"), but turn creation of intermediate images off ("Create intermediate pictures").
When unsure, post a screenshot of the relevant settings in coppermine's config.

GauGau,
sounds rather simple...
I tried, but (except you tell me, that I should read more properly) it didn't work....

This is what I did:
- did the setting you described (see attachment cfg settings)
- uploaded new pictures
- watched the result  (see attachment cfg settings result)  - the idea: same appearance as if using intermediated images.

I have changed the size of the intermediate pic, but this didn't effect the appearance on the web side.

Any other thoughts ?
