Yeah, this probably sounds a little strange, but I want to get coppermine to match the functions of a site.

Essentially, the reason why this is required is that it's an artists' exchange, and twice a month, images are collected, then posted.

What I would like to do is allow users to upload to the desginated folder but disable access to seeing it until a certain specified time, then the gallery is open and everyone can look at the contributed artwork.

So, is this possible within coppermine?

It's possible, you just need to code it or find someone who can code it for you.
