Hi,
I just created a page and called it index.php.
I renamed the existing index.php to galleryindex.php.
Everything works fine except this one - when I click on  "Album List", it brings me to the index.php?cat=0 page.
Previously before I made the change, it always shows the Last Updated Album page.

How do I rectify this - to show the last updated album page.

Grateful for any help  -  I hope this is the right place to post this request as it doesn't seem to fit into the other categories.

just a further clarification on my problem.
the page that came up after clicking the link "Album List" is my index.php page (index.php?cat=0), not the last updated album page.

Use a different name for your new page and leave coppermine's index.php alone.

Nope.
The reason I did so was to have my own opening page to contain php codes.
Since coppermine has its own index.php page, I can't have my own opening page also named index.php.

I understand even a htm page can have php codes parsed if you amend some codes to the htaccess file.

In any case, now, I avoided the problem by reverting to my old starting page - i.e. index.htm.

There is a simple way to change the Album List link
You should set the links manually , it depends on your theme
