I am upgrading my install to the latest 1.4.9 from 1.3.2. I have followed the directions step by step in the 1.4.9 upgrade document, and everything is working fine except the slideshow for the last uploads on the main page fails to load. In firefox it shows a blank page, IE gives you the page can not be displayed error. I have tried to enable debugging and logging, but I can not come up with an error anywhere to track. Not even in the webserver error_log and access_log.


If you go into an album or category and choose the last uploads link for that album or category the slideshow works fine, it is just the lastup from the main page.

I have followed the suggestions in the post http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=21384.0 but none of these suggestions worked for me (the versioncheck suggestion does not work on my system per post http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=37438.0 ). I have also restored from backup twice and made sure that I followed the upgrade directions completely.

It's a known issue. If there are a large number of pictures loaded up for the slideshow then it can fail.
