This is expected ,
login process will send you back to the page you're comming from
for example if you were in FAQ and click on login link after login it will send you back to FAQ page

Why does it do it only on the fist time you login in. the rest of the time it sends u to the home page.

If this is the way its spose t be how would i change it, I think it will confused people because they will follow the screen they are present with.

Usually you shouldn't see that !
Registration process will redirect user to index after successfull registration so the user will click login link on index and she\he will redirect back to index after successfull login
Post a link to your galley and I'll check the registration ....

Okey Everything is normal !
But since you have a custom login box on top then user can login from every where also in registration process and this cause some problem ...maybe it's better to show the custom login box only in index

this is not a bug !

...maybe it's better to show the custom login box only in index
...or at least hide it from the registration page. As Sami suggested: it's a custom modification, shouting "bug" seems very inappropriate to me.

Joachim

P.S. Your page is generating random pop-ups. At least one of them creates an endless loop. I understand that they are being injected by your webhost, so you're not to blame in the first place, but please understand that I'm not ready to go through the pains of having to kill the browser process using the task manager just to be able to support you. Get decent webhosting.

Hi Guys Thanks for the replies.

Maybe I am not using the write terminolgy for you guys that live and breath in the IT world. I was not suggesting it was a bug i was pointing it out to the dev team to see if it was a problem and to assist u guys. I am not a PHP web expert and while i would like to understand how CPG work so i can fix my own problems and contribute to writing plugins, I don't understand it but I am learning.

Sometimes u guys speak IT language and not having a handle on the language can be confusing. I understand that u guys develop this and give support which i think is great. I am fastinate with the whole open source thing

I am trying to do the right things and post in the right places,  this last post re mini cms i was not sure where to post it !

I am sorry about the browser problems, I am using funpic site as i discovered it through on of your other dev members. I am using as a test site before i start paying for a host.

I will not post debug code infuture.

Thankyou for your support and I am learning as i go ;)
