thumbnail size
« on: October 18, 2006, 04:56:51 pm »

I'd love to see an option to make thumbnails fit within a user-defined square.  I've added Stramms mod and even it's not quite there.  Cropping to a square is not practical for 'people' shots.  The other option is to limit either the horizontal or vertical.  This makes either the horizontal thumbs significantly larger than the verticals or vice versa.  Just a 'limit max dimension to xx' would be great.

if all thumbs should have the same width then use 'width' as resize method

maybe I hadn't tried everything after all.  After looking some more, choosing the 'max aspect' option may be just what I was wanting.  Off to test some more.  Thanks for all the work you guys do.
