changing the folder name after install
« on: October 20, 2006, 05:54:19 pm »

I wasn't sure which forum to put it this in so forgive me if this is not the correct one.

My question is how do I change folder names for my coppermine gallery after install? Is it as simple as simply changing the name? Or do I need to do anything to the db etc?

Example: I installed to /coppermine and now want to change it to /gallery

Thanks!

I changed my folder name with no problem at all.  Obviously, you will have to change your navigation links from your main site to the gallery, if applicable.

True. I am prepared for that, thanks. :)

I just want to know if there are any other files or db tables that need to be changed as well.

You need to change your site URL in config.

You have already installed Coppermine, so this is not the correct board.

Thanks.

I thought it might be the wrong board, and stated it in my initial post. Feel free to move this to the correct board. I couldn't decide which board it belonged to. Maybe misc?
