I've just moved two of my sites to a different host and when i did so i upgraded both gallery's. I must be doing something wrong because both have gone wrong. I've been on the forum for 44 minutes and i can't find anything that helps with my two problems.

Firstly with: http://www.emmy-online.org/gallery

I get this fatal error: While executing query "SELECT * FROM cpg_config" on 0

mySQL error: Table 'emmy_copp1.cpg_config' doesn't exist

I've checked config.inc.php and the mysql info is correct, it says the database is emmy_copp1 which it is, i was wondering if it was the database itself because its been moved.

Secondly with: http://www.maura-online.org/gallery/
Everything on the surface is working fine, but when i try and batch add any images the thumbnails show up as x's, this is only on recently uploaded images though, if i go on batch add then select a folder with images already uploaded the thumbnails work fine :/

Any help would be great.

There is a  one issue per thread policy , respact the rules please.
for first issue , check db and see if xxx_config is there
for 2nd issue check the folder permission

ok sorry about that. Well for the first issue, i looked in phpadmin and it says there are no tables for the mysql which is wierd right? The backup of the database must be wrong so im going to get my old host to download the db again for me and see if that works.

For the second problem, the folders are 777 and im using GDx2 which my hosts suggest to use.

try 755 instead and see if it working...

For the other one i got the mysql back and reuploaded it, now all i get is 'fatal error' and no description. Would you recommend installing a new galleryt and using the old mysql?

No
- re-check your xxx_config table and see if every thing is normal ? you can compare it with schema.sql

from what i can see everything looks normal in the xxx_config, I did compare it with schema (which i dont really understand) and they look ok. I decided to try debug mode again and this time it worked, here is what i got

mySQL error: Table 'emmy_copp1.cpg_users' doesn't exist"

Then do the same thing you've done for config table ...
And this time make sure that you have all tables restore
