Add non-root Admin to Coppermine after IPB bridge
« on: October 05, 2006, 04:07:48 pm »

Hi all,  ;)

We successfully bridged Coppermine 1.4.9 with IPB 2.6.x a few months ago.
We then somewhat later upgraded IPB to version 2.7.x.

Now we want to add another admin to the coppermine *without* possibly giving him IPB root access.
How do we do that, since after the bridge Coppermine's member manage function is rerouted
to the IPB ACP?

It's not that i don't trust the guy, but we already have 2 root admin's, where I'm superroot
(what an ugly title  :-\ ;)) anyway 3 is a crowd, I'm trying to avoid that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I don't understand though why you wouldn't trust those users to administer your forum, yet you trust them to administer coppermine. By accident or on purpose they could ruin your entire site in both applications.
