« on: September 27, 2006, 12:47:59 am »

Before, I uploaded pics by URL (cuz it's a lot faster), but now, when i try to upload this way, it says 0 uploads were successful, URL not found, Could not open URL and things like that.. What can I do? Thank You :)

Most likely your host has disables the use of fopen on URLs.

Check phpinfo (admin tools) and read the allow_url_fopen setting to confirm.

You (as coppermine admin) should use FTP-uploads plus batch-add. It's the fastest and most reliable solution. Upload by URI field is silly imo, as you had to upload the files by FTP to your webspace in the first place, so there's no real benefit.
