Keyword Separator or format for image

In Coppermine Photo Gallery Documentation - Use space to separate keywords and connect them with an underscore for phrases . ( Example :  automotive animal_pictures cars cool_bmw_cars )

But I want to use keyword Separator or format as ( Example : automotive, animal pictures, cars, cool bmw cars )

Please Help ..

Has been requested before (only recently there have been several nearly identical question). Not possible out of the box.
