The previous file could not be placed
« on: September 28, 2006, 04:04:32 pm »

I am receiving this when uploading a single file via http.

I have read the manual and followed the troubleshooting steps mentioned.  I have also searched the forum for this error and different variations of it.

Here is how to access:

If single uploads work and multiple don't, then you're running into server or client-sided limitations (there are some of them that are not related to coppermine settings but webserver settings, connection speed, client issues). Read the sticky on this sub-board to find out more about those limitations. You (as Coppermine admin) should use FTP-upload plus batch-add anyway (read the coppermine documentation to find more about this). Alternatively, you can promote the use of XP Publisher for your users (details: again the documentation is the place to look for answers first).
