Uploading Video Files / Thumbnail Generation / FTP

Hi,

Will CPG generate thumbnails from video files? Can it do this with video files uploaded video ftp.

No.  You have to create a custom thumbnail yourself.

No.  You have to create a custom thumbnail yourself.

Does anyone know if it is even possible to get an automatic thumbnail generated from a video file by any means of any technology / software?  Does that exist?

It is technically possible for at least some types of video, there is no copy/paste mod available for it afaik.
