Hi there, my problem is this: I want to move my coppermine directory from "yoursite.com/cpg149/" to "yoursite.com/photos", problem is that i seem to get a 404 error every time I try and I've ran out of ideas and a search of the forums and manual hasn't helped much 

From the threads related to this it should be a simple thing as changing the "URL of your coppermine gallery folder" under the general settings of the admin panel but that doesn't seem to work for me. I tried changing the filename of the coppermine folder from "cpg149" to "photos" but that didn't work either. Anyone any suggestions? Do I need to make any modifications to the coppermine files before I can get this to work?

1) change the URL inside your Coppermine settings
2) rename the CPG path on your server/webspace

I've tried it on my own gallery and it worked.

If it doesn't work for you, please post the URL to your gallery.

Thanks lamama, I've managed to sort it out. Apparantly "Photos" is different from "photos", silly mistake but all working now.
