Align tables to the left (minicms)
« on: September 22, 2006, 11:26:13 pm »

I have edited themes.inc.php of the minicms plugin and changed the value of the starttable command to 80%, now the tables that display the content on index.php are smaller, but centered, I want them to be aligned on the left side (or the right side, just not centered ;)).

Thanks in advance for any (and all) help!

The site itself is protected, you need to be a member to watch it. But I've made two screenshots to graphically represent my point (how fancy! ;))

Anyway:

--> This is what I would like

In the empty space, I'm going to insert a shoutbox - it has to be vertical, otherwise it's incredibly ugly (ever seen a horizontal shoutbox? I don't think so...)

You need to change some style under CSS file to find which styles deal with those tables use Developer toolbar
you can find this kind of toolbar here
I can't recommand anything else without seeing actual pages ...

I don't think it's a CSS thing...

If you want to take a look, the site is http://dz.digitware.be. You can log in using the account Mr. Scruff (it's our test account) with the password banana. As you can see, the table is aligned in the center (=ugly!), I want it aligned to the or right so I can fit in a shoutbox there (=cool!).

So... any thoughts?
