Assigning an album to a group.
« on: September 19, 2006, 06:44:12 am »

I am not sure what I am missing, as I have searched the heck out of this! :)  I keep seeing links to

http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#album_prop

and I keep reading it, over and over, however, I am not sure how to assign an album to a group.  As an example, I have a group called BJ (billy joe, it's a bar not pornography) and I have an album called BJ.  I want people who sign up for that group to be the ONLY one's who could upload pictures there.

Not possible, coppermine doesn't have that granular permissions. There's a yes/no switch to allow uploads to public albums in your group settings and a yes/no switch for particular albums (visitors can upload). You can not assign permissions like "only group XYZ can upload to a specific album".
