Public versus Private Categories

I would like to have a category for unregistered users and an additional category that registered users can view.

Maybe this feature is already native and I am simply missing it, if so please let me know - otherwise: hackers! Please help out!

I've created a plugin to aim this (it is on test stage and experimental) be in tuch I'll submit it to plugin board soon
