There was an error while processing a database query
« on: September 11, 2006, 11:36:58 pm »

Hi,

All of a sudden I've started getting this error message on the main page of my galley "There was an error while processing a database query", and I have no idea how to fix it.

I enabled debug mode and this is what I got :

While executing query "SELECT * FROM cpg_pictures WHERE approved = 'YES'  ORDER BY RAND() LIMIT 10" on 0

mySQL error: Can't create/write to file '/tmp/#sql_12e6_0.MYI' (Errcode: 13)

This error only started appearing today, I had no problems yesterday.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Lee.

Contact your host, it's a server issue.

Nibbler is correct.

Dont suspect your coppermine instal or database, but ask your host to check if the rights voor the tmp directory whch is used by the database itself are set correctly. Hosts soemtimes are working on servers and make changes without setting them back, so that can explain why you experienced problems today while yesterday everything worked fine

It's something only the host has access too unless you are self hosted.

so don't worry :)
