Hi All,
While searching for a bit of stray bytes on the information superhighway, I came across this very cool WordPress theme called Foliage Mod by Derek Punsalan -
http://5thirtyone.com/foliagemod/. I've been getting some positive feedback from WordPress users on the themes that I've ported lately and with this one being quite unique from what I've done, why not add this one to the collection.
The tiny bits of eyecandy are powered by the fabulous script.aculo.us library.
To access some of the items on a typical webpage or gallery such as links and title, you pull the tab to have them slide down into view. I've put the {SYS_MENU} tag there along with the title, description and some links and you can also have your welcome message there. If one uses their imagination, this could be used for a lot of fun!!
I've increased the main content area to allow for all the Config items to fit properly and to be able to show larger images. Other than this, this is all I've done to the style_wp.css file. Instead of integrating the WordPress style sheet into Coppermine's, I've left it separtate so that if anyone wants to make design changes then all they have to do is copy the style sheet from WordPress to Coppermine (of course this can go the other direction as well
).
If you have any script issues, please check out Derek's blog above as many have been addressed for WordPress so this information will be useful but in most cases this shouldn't be a problem for an unmodified gallery installation. I've tested this in Firefox 1.5x and IE 6.0x with no issues. Obiviously Javascript needs to be enabled for the pull tab to function so there's a warning that appears when loading the page.
Enjoy!
Billy
