Next picture in cache to speed browsing? (cf. Google Picasa)
« on: September 03, 2006, 01:52:20 am »

Installed Coppermine and speed is ok. One thing I'm missing very hard is the speed Google Picasa offers when browsing sequential pictures. In Picasa; the next to show picture is immediately loaded in cache so that it can be showed without delay (if not browsing very fast).

Is there a way to do this with Coppermine?

Best Regards,
Hans

If you code it, yes. Most people would consider it a waste of bandwidth.
