Only 1 Category showing up in User Galleries

for some reason only the first category is showing up in the user galleries for all users, even the admin.  their should be like 7-8 categores showing up.

is their a setting somewhere i accidentaly changed... I can't seem to figure out what's wrong

Make sure you are running 1.4.9
