Keyword Management For Media
« on: July 31, 2006, 05:07:12 am »

I would enjoy seeing a keyword management interface where multiple files (or at least categories) can have a common set of keywords tagged in one click.

I typically use XP's publish-to-web function to add images into the galleries; after uploading, it would be great to have the option to set keywords on the uploaded media batch, rather then using the edit-mode to manually insert keywords page after page.

I can understand that, makes sense. In fact, your request is valid if you put it a bit differently: request for keyword management option in editpics.php

Currently, I recommend using FTP-upload plus batch-add for you (as Coppermine admin). XP_Publisher is meant for non-admin users.

Hi,

being able to add a keyword for a whole album would be a nice feature... I made a quick hack and it works for me, will post it in the other forum in a sec. Would be nice to see something a bit nicer than this quick hack in one of the next versions ;)

cheers
