Flash Detect Script
« on: August 26, 2006, 12:04:20 pm »

With the recent update to IE, if you have any ActiveX content (Flash, WMP, QT Player, etc.), there's an ActiveX warning invoked prompting the user to take action to activate the control.

This script will eliminate that message/box for Flash objects.  I'm putting it out there in case you have the "Scroller - based on filmstrip" :)  --- Looks ugly with the box on hover.

More info can be found here - http://blog.deconcept.com/swfobject/

You'll notice at my sample gallery (with IE), there's no message or box border on the scroller.

I've also included a sample anycontent file.

Modify the swf filename (along with the width/height of the movie) and put the 'flashobject.js' into the same directory as the swf file and you're done.

It's not really Coppermine version specific.  This particular application is for content on the home/start page (ie, anycontent).

If anyone has time, they can implement it into the code for viewing flash content in the gallery.
