Title and Caption Placement
« on: August 24, 2006, 11:55:02 am »

I'm trying to get the Title and caption of the Pics displayed at the top rather than below the image as per default, I tried changing the order in the displayimage.php file, but nothing happened...

Code: [Select]
  $nav_menu = theme_html_img_nav_menu();
$pic_info = html_picinfo();
    $picture = theme_html_picture();
    $votes = theme_html_rating_box();

Would appreciate if I can be directed to an existing thread in the Forum. Thanks

Based on the code you supplied, I guess you're talking about the intermediate picture in which case, this is the code you need to change. If it's not in your theme.php, copy it from the sample>theme.php and paste it in. The {TITLE} and {CAPTION} variables are the ones you want to move.

Code: [Select]
// HTML template for intermediate image display
$template_display_media = <<<EOT
        <tr>
                <td align="center" class="display_media" nowrap="nowrap">
                        <table cellspacing="2px" cellpadding="0px" class="imageborder">
                                <tr>
                                        <td align="center">
                                                {IMAGE}

                                        </td>
                                </tr>
                        </table>
                </td></tr>
                <tr><td>
                                                <table width="100%" cellspacing="2px" cellpadding="0px" class="tableb">
                                <tr>
                                        <td align="center">

                                                {ADMIN_MENU}
                                        </td>
                                </tr>
                        </table>

<!-- BEGIN img_desc -->
                        <table cellpadding="0px" cellspacing="0px" class="tableb" width="100%">
<!-- BEGIN title -->
                                <tr>
                                        <td class="tableb"><center><b>
                                                {TITLE}
                                        </b></center></td>
                                </tr>
<!-- END title -->
<!-- BEGIN caption -->
                                <tr>
                                        <td class="tableb"><center>
                                                {CAPTION}
                                        </center></td>
                                </tr>
<!-- END caption -->
                        </table>
<!-- END img_desc -->
                </td>
        </tr>

You already have an open thread where you asked this. Stop cluttering the board. Locking.
