Hi, I've a cpg 1.4.6 modded by Stramm and some times succeed this:


Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11)



...in a white page. After some minutes it works regularly all

which is the problem?... my hosting provider?

Yes , this is server side issue not coppermine side

Ask your webhost for that message. However, you shouldn't run cpg1.4.6, but the most recent one (currently cpg1.4.8).
