I get this error message every time I try to upload an image. The error message says ‘Impossible to move’. This is weird because I have never gotten this error before. Please look at the picture in the link below, so you could see what I mean.

- CHECK YOUR PERMISSIONS ON THE /ALBUMS, /ALBUMS/USERPICS, AND /ALBUMS/EDIT DIRECTORIES.  ALL SHOULD BE 777 OR 755

And I checked it in every folder inside the userpics folder.

I followed the instructions for debugging, and here's a Test account that I created, I even made a Test Album to go with it.

Username: Test   

Password: password

1) You're running cpg1.4.4, it's mandatory to upgrade to the most recent version (currently cpg1.4.8)
2) The error message I got was

Failed to create directory albums/userpics/10006 !

, which means that you haven't set permissions as suggested. The albums folder needs to be CHMODed, not only the folder within it.

Thanks man! I saw the problem now, I changed the permissions from 755 to 777, and it works now. I did that to the Albums folder and all of the folders inside, is their any other folder or file that you might know of, that needs to be CHMODed? Also, I don't know how come I never had this problem before, I think I must of forgot to change the permissions last time I upgraded. Anyways, thanks again, and I'm gona start upgrading to the latest version.

No, the albums folder is the one that needs to be permanently writable. Other folders may need to be writable, depending on what you actually do with coppermine (i.e. the logs folder if you want logs to be created or the plugins folder in case you want to upload plugins using the plugins manager). I suggest not just blindly applying permissions to folders, but instead trying to understand the concept behind it. This is being explained in detail in the coppermine documentation (permissions section).
However, I'm glad your issue is solved now, marking thread accordingly.
