Upload files to another server
« on: July 24, 2006, 03:57:50 pm »

Should i upload to my own server to run coppermine gallery?
Can i upload the images to any other image hosting website and give the links of the images?
I am having only a little amount of space...and  i am having photos of almost 250 mb...Please recommend a website for free mage hosting also if you dont care...
Please help me...My main doubt is whether i should upload the images to my server or any other free image hosting server?
Thanks you

1) Don't shout at us (all-bold or uppercase is considered as shouting)!
2) In the future, respect the "one question per thread" policy you agreed to when signing up!
3) In the future, read the docs and search the board before posting, as this has been asked and answered many times over
4) Remote storage is not supported by Coppermine. There's a mod available that the devs/supporters don't recommend nor support, but you're free to try it.
5) There's a thread dedicated to finding a free webhost, surprisingly it is called Free web host supporting the Copermine requirements
