coppermine oscommerce
« on: March 23, 2006, 01:51:11 am »

Hello

Is there or are we going to see an add or bridge program for ecommerce in coppermine. Hacking and cutting code i am rather slow at.
I think a add for oscommerce or ecommerce in general would make this product fantastic.

Cheers

Peter

if possible to integrate coppermine into oscommerce .. so members that can upload pics are already registered customers .. just as it is for phpbb .. it is installed as standalone, just that there is a bridge for members ...

thanx

My understading of oscommerce zen cart etc, is that that software is your main website then you add your products you want to sell into the relevent oscommerce page.

With cpg you want to be able to keep adding photos and then be ableto add photo to your oscommerce shopping cart. I hope this explains clearly what i mean.

Cheers

my wish is to have it just for pics .. like we sell concert tickets, so why not have a gallery where visitors can upload pics from concerts which they visited ...  my intention is not to sell them via OSC ...

The only option that the dev team should be looking into for coppermine's core code is "regular" bridging, i.e. sharing users and a common login. Integration of the shopping cart of oscommerce is not an option we should look into imo - a mod/plugin contribution would of course be welcome. However, this is the feature requests board, please respect the sticky thread.
