ok the problem i have is that i am the admin for the coppermine forum.i have made some catagories and albums and myself have no problem uploading in these albums.but the issue arises when a registered user tries to upload a picture.. the message they get is
Error
Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files

After this they have to upload into user albums.this is a big pain as i want them to only upload into the albums i have created and not into user albums.please advise

What's a coppermine forum?

Look at the groups page and in album properties and set permissions appropriately. Refer to the corresponding sections in the manual if you don't understand how to use the options.

no what i meant is a normal coppermine gallery
i have set the regsieterd user permission to

public album upload
allowed:yes
permission:no

personal gallery
allowed:yes
permisiion:no
yet it still doesnt work.

where is album properties?its not on the groups page...
groups page only shows
registered users
banned
guests
administrators

also when i click on assigned albums under each user it says this group has no special permissions
