Coppermine 1.4.2 Rotate Does not Work - Blank Screen

Hi,

I get a blank screen on the popup after I attempt to rotate an image.

It will not rotate in any direction, or will it save.

Please advise. Running 1.4.2 Coppermine.

PHP 4.3.11-2.8
MYSQL 3.23.58-16.FC3.1
APACHE 2.0.53-3.3
O/S FEDORA CORE 3

upgrade to the most recent stable cpg1.4.3
However, this may or may not fix your issue. Rotation causes extreme memory usage, your script may simply time out. Try rotating a small pic first. The same server-sided vars that are mentioned in the sticky thread on the upload board apply to rotating as well. There has been a post only recently that asked the very same thing you did - there's a more detailed reply there - please search for it.

I've just upgraded to 1.4.4 and I'm having the same problems. I've read the other replies and understand it might be because the image is too big. It's only 1024x768, I don't know the file size. I can crop it, I can rotate it 180 degrees, but not 90.

Assuming the problem is caused by the file being too big, what should I increase to solve the problem. I have root access to the box.

I'm having the same issue with 1.4.5

Can rotate 180 but not +90 or -90

The server settings mentioned in http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=24088.0 apply to rotation and cropping as well.

i encounter this problem to rotate a picture, i get a blank screen.
My webiste is hosted by www.free.fr
on the FTP folder i can't change the permissions. Everything is on mod 700. Do you think this is the problem?
