1.4.8. Update - directories unwritable
« on: July 15, 2006, 09:45:52 am »

After completing the update I now get the following error when uploading pictures:

Destination directory albums/userpics/10006/ is not writable by the script !

This happens on all albums. Permissions are set to 755. I've tried to change permissions using both my FTP client and Cpanel without success.

Try 777

As I said in original post neither my FTP client or Cpanel will allow the change to any other permission. Error shows as "cannot change permission bad file descriptor"

Ask your webhost for support then (as suggested in the docs).
