Delete Category and all Children

I searched long and hard here.  Didn't find anything.

Is there a way to delete a category and all its subcategories (children) and/or albums?  I could really use this function!

(I don't mind if I have to install a plugin or if you can only do this through phpMyAdmin.)

I don't know of a plugin. Not possible to do it properly via phpmyadmin.

Thanks anyway.  Possibly something to consider for a future CPG release or as an idea for a plugin?
