"No User gallerys" but photos inside
« on: July 13, 2006, 01:45:28 am »

Hi,
I was playing around with coppermine:
I have a database that I use for photo gallery and I had problems with it so I ran an upgrade on the photo gallery but pointed it to a different database. Coppermine installed correctly and I created some user gallerys under the new database. Then when I was done with the testing I deleted all the categories and all the Albums. Then I ran an update again and configured it back to the original database. Now I am missing Galleries of users but I can see that photos are inside the gallery because they show up under random photos. How can I fix this problem to get the Gallery names back on the database. Is there a file I should overwrite with an older version of file? or is it database problem.

Take a look at this at my website.

I have to get this fixed becaues my users will be really unhappy...

Thank you in advance

Please explain in more detail what you have done and what your database now contains. You can't 'point' to a different database when doing an update - you update the existing database. Your current problem is caused by having no users in the database. It would help if you enabled viewing of the memberlist to verify this.

Problem fixed...
I was updating my forum but my gallery was bridged with phpbb database that is why the usernames were not showing up.

Thank you very much. God bless you.
