Enter .doc or .txt files
« on: July 11, 2006, 10:56:05 pm »

I have searched many times on this forum and scanned the documentation several times for a way to have a full page of pure text, .doc or .txt.  Is this possible?  I would use it for a dedication script, instructions, and credits page.

I will be eternally grateful for any help.  Thanks.

I've uploaded a .txt file but I can't figure out a way to link to it.  Would you please explain in more detail?

I really appreciate your help.

There are a couple of different things you can do. If you want a way to add links using an online editor check out the Content Management Plugin: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=15543.0
If you load this and spend a little time reading the support board on how to use it I think you will find this a very useful plugin. You can add links, images, text, format the text, etc.

Also, the following post discusses adding links: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=24107.0

Good Luck!

The miniCMS works great.  I'm familiar with it from another site I have.

Many thanks to all of you.  I really appreciate it.
